The route stays simple because the browser request follows the format you select. If a device is blocked, you can change the choice or fix the browser setting instead of returning to a second marketing form.

Check the frame before granting access. Closing another camera app may resolve a busy-device error.

WHEN THE NEXT SCREEN DOES NOT BEHAVE
Fix the point that failed—not the whole journey.
A missing prompt and a long wait are different problems. Keep the symptom in view before changing settings, so you do not grant access that the selected mode never needed.
First confirm that you chose audio or video. If the browser previously blocked the site, open its site controls and change only the permission you need. Follow the camera guide or microphone guide for the relevant device.
Close other calling, recording, or camera applications, then retry. On a computer with more than one camera or microphone, confirm the selected input instead of repeatedly refreshing the page.
Availability and connection quality change over time. A wait does not prove that permission failed. You can leave, retry later, or use another mode; KnotCam does not promise a fixed connection time before live data supports one.
